Tyrone died after being attacked by a mob of up to 20 youths in Beeston, Leeds, in April 2004. he
was stabbed three times and badly beaten with all sorts of instruments as well as being cs gased as
he and his friend Raffael Lovick, 18, were chased by a group of Asian youths.
They attacked a defenceless young man showing him not a shred of mercy or compassion. The gang
cornered Tyrone in Brett Gardens, Beeston, and attacked him with makeshift weapons, including
baseball bats, poles and planks of wood.

I can understand the judge's ruling but, from my point of view, as a mother, how emotional this
has been for me and my family, Tyrone's friends and the Beeston community, we feel that the
sentence they got, the years, was not enough. They should have had a minimum of 15, 20 years for
what they've done.
No matter what sentace they recieved my sentance is one that will last me the rest of my life !!!!!!

Hi Ty, its been a long while since I came on Gone Too Soon. I think sometimes there are no words, as the pain I feel I can't express myself. But you and I both know I love you with all my heart. Cos you and me know that we have plenty of conversations when I am at home 24 hours a day. It's a bad time coming up for me now. You are 21 in December and we should have been having the party of our life for you. I would have put the biggest and best party on for you, but, I will have one myself for you my darling. I am quite used to being on my own with Shannon now, and I know you will be with me and your sister, now and always. And you know everything that is going on at the moment, so I don't need to go into detail.
Another year without you, people say it gets easier, but it doesn't. The pain is still like it happened yesterday.
Anyway my Ty, me and Shannon and some friends got invited to the live show of Children In Need in London. It was absolutely fabulous. We saw all the stars, and Shannon nearly exploded with excitement. She is now destined for a job with the papparazzi!! We had our pictures taken with stars from Eastenders, Will Young, Leon Jackson etc. You would have loved it, just to see your little sister's face....incredible.
Anyway my darling, I will sign off for now, but trust me, I will be here again very soon.
